Responsible for shaping the experience of each "Company" customer, Customer Service Specialists give voice to the way that "Company" is changing the industry. Supporting a diverse customer base, team members champion our ability to meet the unique needs of each customer. Guiding customers through the ordering process via incoming calls and emails, Customer Service Specialists are responsible for account creation, order entry, account maintenance, parts research, and overall customer support. Constant customer interaction makes strong communication skills, the ability to remain calm under pressure, and a proven track record in customer service vital to succeeding in the Customer Experience role.

Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming calls to support customers through the ordering process
  • Process orders received via fax or email accurately and timely
  • Manage the entirety of the ordering process; ensuring order accuracy, updating order changes, and delighting customers
  • Create customer quotes, providing information about pricing, part availability, and shipping
  • Proactively communicate with customers to give updates on important order changes
  • Promote Company resources and capabilities to new customers
  • Assist customers with parts identification utilizing parts manuals and technical support
  • Enter customer orders with a high level of accuracy
  • Address customer concerns, rectifying any errors

Basic Qualifications

  • A passion for helping customers
  • 0-3 years’ experience in customer service
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • The drive to exceed company goals and customer expectations
  • Ability to multi-task without sacrificing accuracy
  • Capacity to adapt to change in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to thrive within a team atmosphere
  • Exceptional conflict resolution skills
  • Basic phone and computer knowledge
