Job Description:
We are seeking detail-oriented and dependable Assemblers to join our manufacturing team. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to build a career in medical device manufacturing. No prior manufacturing experience is required—we provide training for motivated individuals who are eager to learn and work in a fast-paced, quality-focused environment.
As an Assembler, you will perform hands-on manufacturing activities that support the production of high-quality medical devices. You will work within a regulated manufacturing environment, follow established procedures, maintain accurate documentation, and help ensure products are manufactured safely, efficiently, and according to customer requirements.
Responsibilities
- Assemble components, subassemblies, and finished products according to approved procedures and work instructions
- Perform in-process inspections to verify quality and accuracy
- Operate manufacturing equipment including adhesive dispensers, UV curing equipment, hot boxes, and tipping machines
- Utilize hand tools and measurement devices such as calipers, rulers, tweezers, cutters, and precision assembly tools
- Prepare workstations and perform line clearance activities to ensure production readiness
- Complete production records and manufacturing documentation accurately
- Identify defects, equipment issues, or quality concerns and communicate them to production leadership
- Support daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning activities within manufacturing areas
- Maintain material traceability and organization throughout the manufacturing process
- Follow all quality system requirements, standard operating procedures, and safety guidelines
Qualifications/Education
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required
Experience
- Medical device manufacturing experience is a plus
- Experience in assembly cleanroom is preferred but not required
Skills & Abilities
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
- Ability to work under a microscope for extended periods
- Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to accurately record production information and inspection results
- Comfortable using computers for production documentation
- Ability to use measurement tools such as rulers and calipers
- Ability to use hand tools including tweezers, pliers, cutters, screwdrivers, and similar assembly tools
- Ability to operate manufacturing equipment such as glue dispensers, heat guns, ovens, and soldering equipment
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team
- Positive attitude with strong work ethic and professional demeanor
