Duties & expectations:
• Be a main point of contact for customers for quote inquiries, purchase order placement and
status and other related commercial aspects.
• Be liaison between customers and internal departments of Engineering, Production, Quality, Upper
Management and IT.
• Data entry of quotes and purchase orders in a manner that is accurate and timely.
• Develop business relationships to achieve growth and confidence within the company to our
customer base.
• Interact with customers via phone, email or in person. In person interaction includes both on
site or at customer’s site as
required.
• Follow up on quotations and provide feedback to estimating.
• Update and expedite order status to meet customer and internal schedules. Use tools such as
milestones, charts, inch stone or other to track orders and communicate with all parties most
effectively.
• Support marketing with PowerPoint presentations, input on websites, brochures or other related
marketing tools that may be needed.
• In the event of lack of work or another department needing assistance, may be asked to do other
office related tasks.
• Maintain a positive attitude and punctuality.
• Work in a team environment.
• Keep clean and organized work area.
• Look for continuous improvement of processes and understand the contribution to the
effectiveness of the QMS.
• Aware of quality policies, procedures, objectives, contribution to conformance of product,
safety and ethics.
