o Manages all Talent Acquisition activities, from crafting of job descriptions, posting of vacancies, shortlisting candidates and interviewing. Works closely with the HR Director and hiring managers to provide a strong and ongoing pipeline of high-performing talent for the business.
o Acts as the key representative for the rollout of the "Company" Employer Brand, managing relevant internal and external messaging and activities, and collaborating with Group colleagues as appropriate.
o Conducts new employee orientations to ensure employees gain a comprehensive understanding of the business
o Reviews billings for accuracy, codes and advances for payment. Resolves discrepancies with carriers, payroll and the company.
o Prepare and maintain employee files. Run reports from employee database as requested.
o Process new hire, status change and termination paperwork.
o Quality check benefit related data.
o Handling of UC claims and the workers compensation for injury reporting.
o High School Diploma with a Min. 1 years generalist HR experience or Recruiting experience with an understanding of small and medium sized corporate environments.
o Strong appreciation of the need for confidentiality and discretion.
o Strong understanding of environments such as Manufacturing or Logistics or Distribution.
o Strong organizational skills with a keen ability to prioritize and multi-task.
o Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required.
o Flexible and can-do attitude.
o Excellent communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills, with strong negotiation and influencing abilities.
