Manual Machinist

pay up to $21/hr

Job Description

We are seeking a reliable Manual Machinist to operate and monitor milling and secondary machines in a manufacturing environment. This position involves running machines that have already been set up, inspecting parts, and performing minor tooling replacements to maintain production.

Responsibilities:

• Operate secondary machines.
• Run multiple manual milling machines simultaneously as needed.
• Perform minor tooling replacements, including taps, drills, and inserts.
• Load and unload parts to maintain production flow.
• Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet blueprint specifications.
• Perform routine, repetitive machining operations following established procedures.
• Complete assigned manual operations as needed.
• Follow work instructions and supervisor directions.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.

Qualifications:

• Previous machine operating experience preferred.
• Ability to read and understand basic blueprints.
• Familiarity with basic cutting tools such as taps, drills, and inserts.
• Familiarity with calipers and micrometers
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
