Material Handler

We are seeking a dedicated Forklift Operator/Material Handler to join our dynamic warehouse team on 1st (5am-2:30pm) and 2nd (2:30-11:30pm) shift. The Material Handler is responsible for safely and efficiently transporting raw materials, packaging components, finished goods, and production supplies throughout manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of warehouse operations, equipment handling, and safety protocols, contributing to smooth logistics and inventory accuracy. This position offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced setting where precision and safety are paramount.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Operate an electric pallet jack to safely transport pallets, raw materials, packaging components, and finished goods throughout the facility.
• Deliver boxes and other production components to manufacturing and packaging lines
• Remove completed pallets and finished product from production lines
• Assist with production equipment and components as needed.
• Lower, stage, and organize boxes and packaging materials for production personnel.
• Verify materials and components match production schedules, batch records, and work orders.
• Maintain accurate inventory movement and material identification in accordance with company procedures.
• Inspect pallets and materials for damage prior to transport
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas
• Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) and comply with all environmental, health, and safety requirements.
• Assist with inventory counts, material staging, and warehouse organization as assigned.
• Support production and warehouse operations with additional duties as required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1+ year of Material Handling experience
• Ability to operate a forklift
