pay up to $19/hr
Job Description:
- Assemble products according to specifications (documentation, prints, bills of material, etc.)
- Examine parts being used on assemblies and reject if unacceptable.
- Verify assemblies as they are built to insure they pass workmanship and quality expectations.
- Assist Line Foreman as needed.
- Maintain material move tickets, inspection data, in-process tags, reject tags, rework orders, etc.
- Train on how to use the computer system to print material move tickets as needed.
- Follow all rules, policies and safety procedures as established by the company.
Experience, Education and Skills Needed:
- Mechanically inclined; must be able to use a variety of hand, air and power tools.
- 1 year related work experience or educational equivalent in either mechanical assembly or as an auto/truck/heavy equipment mechanic
- Familiarity with engines and hydraulics a plus
- Ability to read prints
- General computer skills in a windows environment
- Detail oriented
- Willingness to learn new skills, safety conscious, good work habits
- Ability to lift up to 50-75 pounds.
