pay - up to $27/hr
Qualifications:
•5 years’ experience working in quality inspection in manufacturing environment.
•Experience with ISO and AS and NADCAP specifications and requirements.
•Ability to do PPAP, FAIR’s, and SPC studies.
•Understands GD&T and the blueprint map, as it relates to product verification activities.
•Ability to read and understand drawings and customer standards and requirements
•Good interpersonal and communication skills.
•Fills in for department manager when needed
Duties & Expectations:
•Conducts required training and appropriate documentation. Leads, trains and coaches’ team, new hires and employees from other department to applicable standards and work instructions
•Reviews and organizes daily work environment, delegates appropriate tasks to team members.
•Reviews product in-process on the floor during fabrication to meet productivity and efficiency goals.
•Performs in process and final inspection as needed.
•Performs corrective and preventative actions.
•Perform QE level tasks when needed
•Reporting out of tolerance conditions, assist with the investigation activities and communication to the shop floor.
•Provide regular feedback on metrics to management and employees, as applicable.
•Analyze trends and detail areas in need of improvement and/or preventive measures.
•Oversees the continuous improvement of processes and understands the contribution to the effectiveness of the QMS, including documenting the implementation of continuous improvement activities and customer
satisfaction feedback.
•Fills in as acting supervisor when Department Manager is out of the office.
•Aware of quality policies, procedures, objectives, contribution to conformance of product, safety and ethics.
