Role Summary
The Warehouse Associate is a versatile team member responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations. This role is responsible for assisting where needed to maintain workflow, improve efficiency, and ensure materials, and orders move smoothly through the operation.
Key Responsibilities
- Support warehouse and production operations across departments based on workflow needs
- Assist with receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping materials and finished goods
- Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment as required; training/certification provided if applicable
- Perform assembly, material handling, and general production support tasks
- Read and follow work instructions, job orders, and company procedures
- Monitor workflow and communicate delays, material shortages, or operational issues to leadership
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of warehouse, production, and common areas
- Support inventory accuracy through proper handling, storage, and movement of materials
- Follow all safety policies, company procedures, and quality standards
- Maintain attendance, productivity, and adherence to established expectations
- Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed to support team and organizational objectives, consistent with the scope of this role.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Capacity to lift and carry up to 40 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
- Capable of performing physical work, including standing, bending, crouching, and lifting throughout the workday
- Basic math skills and ability to read a tape measure
- Able to follow written and verbal instructions and adhere to established procedures
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
- Familiarity with reading and following technical specifications, inspection standards, and work instructions
