JOB DESCRIPTION – Human Resources Support
Qualifications:
- Associates degree in HR or related field and/or equivalent experience working in human resources
- 5+ years of experience in HR in Manufacturing environment.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact and professionalism.
- Experience with HRIS systems (e.g., Paylocity, ADP) preferred.
- Excellent communication, written, verbal and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong skills in Microsoft word, excel, HR software.
- Able to organize and prioritize job related duties.
Duties & Expectations:
- Knowledge of compensation strategy, performance management, employee relations, safety practices and the ability to apply this information in a manner that is compliant with relevant employment law.
- Assists with payroll and benefits administration, including enrollment, changes’, and terminations.
- Experience with recruitment and onboarding, including posting job openings, reviewing resumes, and conducting initial screenings.
- Coordinate employee orientation and ensure new hires have all necessary paperwork and information
- Maintain employee records and update HR databases with employee information
- Assist with performance management processes, including scheduling and coordinating employee evaluations
- Support employee relations by addressing employee questions and concerns, and escalating issues as needed
- Assist with HR projects and initiatives as assigned
- Maintain a positive attitude and punctuality.
- Maintains a clean and organized work space.
- Aware of quality policies, procedures, objectives, contribution to conformance of product, safety and ethics.
