Summary:
Responsible for cycle counting to maintain inventory control, preparation of documents, and special projects as assigned.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Performs activities to monitor and maintain inventory control of finished goods and raw materials
- Completes cycle counting activities to include counting, reporting, reconciliation and all other related functions
- Prepares paperwork and maintains documents related to shipping and traffic
- Performs purchase order receiving activities
- Assist with labeling, shipment verification and any special customer shipment requirements
- Responsible for special projects as assigned by management
- Responsible for training backup personnel to perform all inventory functions
- Maintains a safe, clean and organized work area
Physical and Visual Activities/Demands:
- Standing, walking, bending, reaching, reading, writing and talking
- Lifting up to 50-75 pounds
- Pushing and pulling up to 100 pounds
