Responsibilities
The primary purpose is the support of logistics. Includes preparing orders for assembly and verifying inventory, as well as the kitting of assembly orders and single parts for shipment, receiving incoming goods and restocking, movement of freight between buildings.
- Handle inventory management by putting parts in designated inventory location, running reports, checking inventory, and receiving the parts into the ERP system.
- Reading packing slips and other records and receiving the material accordingly into the ERP.
- Shuttling product between buildings via truck.
- Pick single parts for shipping or outside treatment (Sub-Contracting).
- Kitting for assemblies, release the material in the ERP, ensure the material list is up to date, and if material changes, update the material list for the order.
- Palletize for LTL shipments
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or General Education Development certificate (GED) is required
- 2 years’ experience in shipping / receiving area is preferred
- Experience with inventory control
- Able to read work orders, pick tickets and material lists
- Experienced in ERP software and shipping software, world ship via training
- Valid driver’s license
